Love Live! officials are cracking down on copyrighted items and doujinshi. Melon Books have discontinued Love Live related Doujinshi.

Love Live! officials have started to crack down on infringed Love Live! products.

Japan’s well-known doujinshi retailer, Melon Books have issued a notice that they’ll be taking down and discontinuing any sales of Love Live! related doujinshi.
It is believed that Melon Books are following up with the addressed announcement by the Love Live! officials.

Melon Books have already removed the Love Live! capsule machines and related doujinshi books goods.

Currently, many doujinshi artists are puzzled on the “boundaries” of the infringement.

Originally, it was thought that the previous announcements were only for counterfeit official goods. However, doujinshi is affected as well. Continue reading Love Live! officials are cracking down on copyrighted items and doujinshi. Melon Books have discontinued Love Live related Doujinshi.

[Love Live] Sunshiner improper etiquette during Bushiroibu!

After Aqours live, most sunshiners went to play their smartphones, went home, threw away distribution items and cluttered the bins.

“Good work on the Bushira!
Some points for sunshiners to improve
・Don’t come if you’re just interested in Aqours
・Don’t play your smartphone after Aqours
・Don’t leave just because Aqours is over
・Don’t throw away other distribution fliers just because you are interested in Aqours only
・Don’t throw away souvenir towels
・Remember the milky call
・Don’t scatter the garbage around”

Some comments by the Japanese:
– I went to the Bushira but Aqours fans were sickly cold during milky and they were playing with smartphones.

-By the way, the reputation of Love liver, which had already went downhill, is going to fall further. Although the contents were really good, but the quality of the fans is really garbage.

-Rather than resting.
It was a song with no physical strength for the call.
Everyone was terrible.

Basically, it’s about respecting other seiyuu/artistes.

Pile’s thoughts on μ’sic Forever

Felt it has been a long time since I’ve written such a long blog post.
It has been a year since FINAL LOVE LIVE. The time has been going by so fast.
There were lots of interviews after FINAL LOVE LIVE!, and I thought there will be lots of opportunities to talk about my own feelings about it.
It has been a busy 6 years, but also a fulfilling one. I have gained lots of precious experiences. Continue reading Pile’s thoughts on μ’sic Forever

Aqours First Live LEAKED in China

Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours First Love Live! ~Step! ZERO to ONE~ was held on 25th – 26th February at Yokohama Area. The two days of concerts were also broadcasted in overseas such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Southeast Asia and Australia.

However, just last night, several large Love Live groups in China were tipped that some online sites were selling Aqours Leaked concerts video, and has since caused a lot of controversy.

Firstly, the satellite broadcasting, which means the actual raw concert clips will be transmitted real-time through the satellite and to the rest of the world.

It was suspected that the satellite transmissions signal were intercepted, and the hacking is completely at a different level of approach.

“Someone selling the leaked concert videos online”

“Based on this screenshot, you can see that the videos have a large capacity, and both were uploaded in the night after the concert. And there are reasons to believe that the videos were leaked for profiting purposes.”

The two days clips reportedly having overseas broadcasting notice screen. The videos were in HD, and definitely not through illegal filming but directly (hacked?) from the officials.

In comparison to the Live Viewing, the leaked content can be described as “Authentic”, including the NG part of Rikyako (Rikako Aida).
Of course, the official Blu-ray Disc sales will make some corrections to the sound. But to some people, the raw footage might be more “worthy” for collections than the edited BD.

In fact, this was not the first time. The leaks have been rampant in China since 2015, with LoveLive! 5th Live followed by LoveLive! Final Live being leaked out. Coincidentally, it happened every time on their live broadcasting.

According to sources, the leaked broadcasting was already an “open secret”, those “fans that do not have the money to attend the broadcasting” would resort to piracy.
The tickets supply were “little” and basically sold out very quickly. There was no other broadcast live, and the nearest places would be either Hong Kong or Taiwan. Thus, lots of time and money will be needed and obtain through piracy is more “convenient”. “There were many LoveLiver in the mainland, and this type of business is very profitable”.

The leaked videos have since sparked discussions. Most fans understood that the leaked was not only illegal piracy, and totally not a desirable outcome. And once if spread to the Japanese officials, they might be banned from having any future Love Live! activities. Some argued that the leaked is their only way to “support” since they couldn’t attend the Live or to buy the BD.

Last week, the Sword Art Online Movie were leaked from Singapore & Malaysia, and have caught the licensor ODEX’s attention to address the issues.
ODEX has sternly pointed out that “because of this irresponsible behaviour”, Singapore & Malaysia might be “blacklisted” from the release of animated films.

It’s rumoured that piracy in China is “inevitable” and it’s an unknown on how the Japanese will be handling the issues.
However, if future overseas broadcasting were to be cancelled then good luck to all the overseas fans 🙂

The official BD sales might be months after the actual Live, but piracy is absolutely illegal no matter what reasons.
Supporting the Officials products are the genuine deal in support the industry.

Should fans interfere with their idols/singers/artistes/seiyuu’s lives? [Pilefection][Opinions]

It’s quite a distinctive between Japanese & the non-Japanese fans.
There’s always a small portion of the Japanese extreme fans, and sometimes they might be really harsh on their words.
Probably being too selfish/finding commonly excuses.
1. The idols/singers/actors/artistes will be “distracted” if they’re dating.
2. The idols/singers/actors/artistes are not even loyal to the fans.
Non-Japanese fans, on the other hand, they’re generally quite open-minded on the taboo topic relating to dating.
1. The idols/singers/actors/artistes have their own lives to live.
2. The idols/singers/actors/artistes have their own rights to date who they want.

*Crude words have been removed. (Usually, will be omitted/deleted on Japanese blogs as well)

Based on this Facebook post’s, under the comments, you can see that most of us are quite supportive of the idea for the artistes to lead their own lives.
